The year 2026 marks a special milestone for De Lille NV: we are celebrating the 40th anniversary of Merlo Benelux! Since 1986, we have been the exclusive importer of Merlo machines in the Benelux region — and what a journey it has been.
When we first started introducing Merlo machines to construction sites, farms and industrial locations across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg four decades ago, we had one clear mission: to combine top-quality machines with top-level service. Today, we can proudly say that we fulfil this mission every single day — thanks to our customers, distributors, technicians and our dedicated team.
A partnership that delivers results
Merlo is a globally recognised name in the telehandler sector. The Merlo Group is an Italian family-owned company with a rich history in machine manufacturing and technological innovation, renowned for producing robust, versatile and technologically advanced machines.
At De Lille NV, we have believed since 1986 that every Merlo machine we deliver is not just a machine, but an investment in productivity and reliability, whether for construction, agriculture or industrial applications.
More than just an importer
Our role goes far beyond import alone. Over the years, we have developed in-depth product expertise:
- Our people are trained by Merlo and are true specialists.
- We provide a complete after-sales service, including a technical helpdesk and a full team of technicians ready to support our customers.
- Our webshop allows customers to quickly and easily order spare parts and aftermarket kits online, whenever it suits them.
- Thanks to an extensive network of Merlo distributors, we are able to support our customers locally with expert advice and service.
Four decades of innovation
Over the past 40 years, we have experienced many key developments together with Merlo — from classic telehandlers to the latest generation Merlo eWorker, a fully electric telehandler designed for a cleaner, more sustainable future.
We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved — but we are even more excited about what lies ahead.
